 | | | | As in every story there is both fact and fiction; it's up to the listener to decide if fiction can be reality or vice versa. And even we do not know if the postcard sent by Margaret in 1926 was real or imaginary. We only know that it was sent from Saint Moritz in February of that year and it was addressed to us. There was all the athmosphere of those times in the group of English skiers who warmed themselves beneath the winter sky.Perhaps among them there was even a light-hearted gnome who kept for us that picture and then sent it fifty years later. Since then we haven't invented anything, we have only plunged into that picture and started travelling with our minds, to find a style which is never made of things that appear cheeklily.Since then, when we talk about our work, we talk about "Post Card". Immediately earning the approval of the public and market, the brand confirmed its success in December 1984 when it appeared on the cover of Vogue Sport. Synonymous of skiwear, but also of clothes for the city and leisure, now as then, POSTCARD especially encourages a culture for quality based on understated luxury that is felt inside, on almost handmade details and fine materials, carefully designed styles and finishes, and elegant color combinations that nonchalantly define timless style. Style that has always been worn. |
